About the event

  • Scouts in Full class A Uniform (Uniform shirt, hat, neckerchief, slide) – Navy Blue pants(green webelos)

  • Arrival9:30 Branford Town Hall (parade begins at 10:00)

  • Parade route: begins at the Branford Green circles around by Richlin and ends back at the Branford Green.

  • Parents:bring Water bottle and simple snack for each of your parade marchers (like a package of nut free crackers). Parent will carry these items; there is a stop half way for a break.

  • A Parent,for each Cub Scout can march behind the pack or watch from parade route and to be responsible for them before and immediately after the parade. We meet a the flagpole on the green directly after marching.

  • Parents choosing to march stay behind and not next to the scouts during ceremony and parade. If bringing a sibling they need to stay with parent or be inside a wagon pulled by parent.

  • Den Leaders & ParentsDuring the parade the cub scouts will be directed by their leader.

  • Scouts:This is a time of respect and reverence; we are remembering those who risked their lives for our freedom and also for those who lost their lives to that cause. We must remember we are representing Pack 633 and should always be on our best behavior, to stay in parade line, to stay behind your den flag and to Salute ALL Veterans in parade and on route.

  • Departure- Gather around Flagpole immediately following the parade line.

  • Parentsign off with cub masterbefore scout leaves with parent.

  • Den LeadersBring Den Flags. Cub master will be responsible for Pack and American Flag.
